I just opened to see Kit's party game to see if we can play this at the convention. And I really did not like what I saw. The game pack has the follows: Invitations, envelopes, character files, Scripts and copy paper items! I think that this is a poorly done. The paper that has the clues and the secret hobo code is plain copy paper and the images do not look nicely done.
The script looks too dull for adults and too much to read for children, who may get bored during the reading.
Basically, all everyone has to do is sit around the table, read the script and then go find the JUNGLE using the Hobo clues. And read the end of the script.
I thought the game maybe boring for some children. I am not going to use it at the convention as planned. But will do something else.
I guess I was expecting a little more. Going to return this to AG.

Bummer. I want Sam's Mystery Party. I hope someone puts a review out on that. I wasn't interested in the Kit or Molly mystery stories, just from the write-up on the AG site.

Thanks for the review, Ria, and I am sorry it was a disappointment. It doesn't sound appealing at all to me.
Annother party idea; besides the many you can come up with based on those lick and stick packing peanuts ( see my post code pastimes thread) is leg wrestling, LOL. My dd had a big cast party last night and you never saw so many girls having so much fun in your life.
Okay, thought of another- get a bunch of baby's ear or nose syringes, and make little stand up AD dolls on your photo copier ( about 1-2" tall) have each player use their syringe to puff the character around a board you make to complete tasks. If you can make the board 3 dimencisional so they have to go up and down hills it's funnier.
We want to see the photos!

Popsie, I want to get invited to a party at your house.
Ria, sorry to hear about the game. They really pumped it up like it was something special, I can understand your disappointment. But there are so many other resources (I'm sure you as a teacher have them all!) and I know you will have plenty to work with.
Have fun at the Convention!

That's the one DD picked for her sisters birthday party this weekend. I had to order it twice from B&N and it still didn't come, so my Dad ordered it for me. It's sitting at his house right now. I'll have to let you know how the girls liked it, it's too late to do anything else now.
